In ChicagoLand, through Allah Ta’ala’s continuous mercy, Masjid Al Huda has been able to provide the Muslim community an approved Islamic means of buring their deceased loved ones.
“Whoever attends a funeral and attends the prayer will receive a qirat worth of reward and whoever attends the burial, he will receive two.” i.e. one qirat = great mountains worth.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
Umm Salamah (رضي الله عنها) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “No Muslim is afflicted with a calamity and says what Allah has commanded — ‘Certainly, we belong to Allah and to him we are returning. Allah, reward me in my affliction and replace it with something better than it.’ — except that Allah will follow the situation with something better.”
