Umm Salamah (رضي الله عنها) said. The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said, “No Muslim is afflicted with a calamity and says what Allah has commanded, ‘Certainly, we belong to Allah to him we are returning. Allah, reward me in my affliction and replace it with something better than it.’, except that Allah will follow the situation with something better.”

We at Masjid Al Huda are sorry for your loss and hope to help expedite the burial process for your family and remind ourselves of the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), “مَن شهد الجنازة حتى يُصلَّى عليها فله قيراط، ومَن شهدَها حتى تُدفَنَ فله قيراطان”
“Whoever attends a funeral and attends the prayer will receive a qirat worth of reward and whoever attends the burial, he will receive two.” i.e. one qirat = great mountains worth.
