About Us

Masjid Al Huda—“the Guidance”—is a welcoming house of Allah dedicated to illuminating hearts with the light of the Qur’an and Sunnah. Serving the diverse Muslim community of Chicagoland, it offers a space for sincere worship, sound Islamic learning, and community connection grounded in authentic fiqh. Here, individuals and families are guided to strengthen their relationship with Allah, uphold Islamic values, and grow together in unity and purpose.

Our Future and growth

"The future of the Muslim community in America depends on strong institutions that nurture faith, education, service, and unity across generations. Mosques are more than places of worship, they are community anchors where families gather, youth are guided, and values are preserved while engaging positively with wider society. As Muslim populations continue to grow and diversify, expanding masjid facilities becomes essential to meet evolving spiritual, educational, and social needs.

As communities grow, physical space and modern infrastructure become critical. Classrooms for Islamic education, youth programs, counseling services, community events, and interfaith outreach all require thoughtful expansion. The role of the masjid today extends beyond prayer, especially when “the Masjid’s congregation includes a diverse set of ethnicities and cultures that represent Muslims from all over the world.” Expanded facilities allow this diversity to thrive through inclusive programming that strengthens unity while honoring cultural differences.

Masjid expansion is also an investment in the broader society. “Our hope is to expand many of our facilities and services to meet the needs of both the Muslim community.” Open, welcoming spaces encourage dialogue, service, and mutual understanding—helping position Muslim institutions as active contributors to civic life. As a registered non profit serving the public good, continued growth ensures that the masjid remains sustainable, accessible, and impactful for decades ahead.

In building and expanding today, we are preparing a foundation of faith, service, and leadership that will sustain the Muslim community tomorrow."
